As one of Iowa's newest drivers
education schools, we are dedicated to personal attention and drivers
education that meets and exceeds all state standards.
At StreetSmarts, we believe that each
student needs to experience a variety of driving environments to
ensure that they are well-prepared for the real world.
Therefore, we emphasize the following
areas of driving:
- Extensive city driving -- Various
driving situations to ensure overall experience
- Highway driving -- Highway speeds
and traffic conditions
- Gravel road driving -- Experience
on gravel is necessary to ensure that students understand how
vehicles react on gravel
- Parking -- all types of parking
are taught, allowing students to get the feel for vehicle dimensions
and turning capabilities
StreetSmarts
employs only fully licensed educators.
We are all fully licensed by the Iowa Department of Education and the
Iowa Department of Transportation.
